The Ankylo Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Overview

Ankylo Eggs are randomly dropped by  Ankylo. They can be eaten or used to make  Regular Kibble for taming  Anglerfish,  Ankylosaurus,  Baryonyx,  Beelzebufo,  Carbonemys,  Carnotaurus,  Dimetrodon,  Diplodocus,  Doedicurus,  Gigantopithecus,  Ichthyornis,  Kaprosuchus,  Kentrosaurus,  Lymantria,  Pelagornis,  Pteranodon,  Pulmonoscorpius,  Purlovia,  Sabertooth,  Sarco,  Stegosaurus,  Terror Bird,  Thorny Dragon, and  Velonasaur. On ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile Logo Mobile.svg, they can be used to make  Kibble (Ankylo Egg) for taming a  Carno.

After two  Ankylo mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Ankylo.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Ankylo will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

It must be in the temperature range of ? to ? °C / 32 to 32 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose  Health. The female  Ankylo needs between Expression error: Unexpected >= operator. Expression error: Unexpected >= operator. Expression error: Unexpected >= operator. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.

Collecting

Ankylo eggs can be collected from wild ankylos or from tamed ones.

Stealing an egg from a a wild ankylo will cause her to chase you relentlessly.

By taming a female, you can collect her eggs without her becoming aggressive. She will lay them more often if you have a male Ankylo for the Mate Boost and an Oviraptor near by.

Super Fertilized Egg (Mobile)

Logo Mobile.svg This section is about a feature exclusively available on Mobile

Super Fertilized Ankylo Eggs are a type of Ankylo Egg exclusive to ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile.

These Eggs can be obtained after a female  Ankylo with a  Herbivore Pheromone applied has laid one. They will hatch quicker than normal Ankylo Eggs and the baby  Ankylo will have better stats when it has hatched.

They can also be used to craft  Super Kibble (Ankylo Egg), which will  tame Creatures faster and with more taming effectiveness.
